The Southampton Township Committee met in a special session on March 4, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. at the Robert L. Thompson Building in Southampton. Mayor James F. Young Sr. called the meeting to order and Kathleen D. Hoffman, Township Administrator/Clerk, read the public notice required under the Open Public Meetings Act.
The Committee confirmed in roll call that Deputy Mayor Elizabeth Rossell, Committeeman Ronald Heston, Committeeman Bill Raftery, Committeeman Mikulski and Mayor Young were present. Mayor Young then requested a motion to enter an executive session under Resolution 2019-39, described in the minutes as "Personnel - Public Works." Committeeman Ronald Heston moved to approve the motion; Committeeman Mikulski seconded. The Committee voted unanimously to enter executive session; the minutes record that "no formal action will be taken" while in that closed session.
After returning to the regular meeting, Mayor Young opened the floor for public comment. No members of the public came forward to speak during the allotted public comment period. Later in the evening Committeeman Heston moved to adjourn the meeting; Committeeman Mikulski seconded and the roll-call vote was unanimous. The minutes record the meeting adjourned at 9:14 p.m.
