Mayor Jeffrey Lahullier presented Resolution #93 after the governing body adopted the required self‑examination (Resolution #92). The introduced 2026 budget lists total general appropriations of $34,147,624.53, total anticipated revenues of $18,861,233.16, and an amount to be raised by taxation of $15,286,391.37. The municipal portion of local taxation to fund municipal purposes is shown as $14,310,209.03; a dedicated sewer utility budget totals $2,861,000.00.
Council recorded its adoption of the self‑examination and the budget introduction on the minutes and noted the auditor, Paul Garbarini, was present for questions. The minutes include detailed line items for appropriations within CAP limits ($26,690,312.73) and exclusions from CAP ($6,847,311.80), a reserve for uncollected taxes of $610,000 and a recap of the capital improvement and six‑year capital plan. A public hearing on the budget and tax resolution is scheduled for June 16, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., the official notice states.
