The motion to appoint Sireci was moved by Councilman Antonio Segalini, seconded by Councilman Michael Lorusso, and the roll call vote recorded all present voting aye.
The appointment fills the borough’s statutory certified finance officer role under N.J.S.A. 40A:9‑140.10, which the minutes cite in describing term length. The auditor, Paul Garbarini, and borough staff were present during budget‑related portions of the meeting and remained available for administrative questions, the minutes say.
The appointment was handled as part of routine business at the regular meeting; the council did not record any objection.
