At its June 15 meeting Delanco Township approved a consent agenda covering routine and project items: the committee authorized award of the Centennial Park improvements contract (low bidder LMC Developers), approved grant applications (including a New Jersey DEP shade-tree inventory grant and a DOT Poplar Street drainage improvement application), authorized a shared-service agreement with Mount Laurel for electrical subcode inspection, and approved payment of bills totaling $1,124,634.28.
Town staff reported that Centennial Park bids were received and that the recommended contractor is the same firm that completed Waterfront Park work. The township also noted it received DEP and Army Corps approvals for the Union Avenue boat ramp and is preparing bid and timing details for construction work tied to the ramp. The committee approved the consent package by roll call vote.
Committee members said the consent items are routine but important to maintain project schedules; staff will proceed with award notifications, state grant application follow-ups and co-op purchasing steps to allow the town to execute roof and park contracts.
