The Asylum Springs Planning Commission voted Oct. 14 to accept three easement-related items: lot-line adjustments LA25-07 (825 and 833 West Granite Street), LA25-08 (parcel on North Carl in West Garland) and a lot consolidation in the 3800–3900 block of East Highway 412 tied to the earlier rezoning request.
Staff explained the consolidation involved adjusting a small parcel so that three previously separate parcels become two (one of which will be combined with an adjacent parcel as part of the rezoning project). The commission moved and seconded acceptance of the easements and adjustments; a roll-call vote recorded yes from Sutton, Renard, K. Williams, T. Williams, Sally and McKini and the motion passed.
Staff encouraged commissioners to ask questions about the exhibits; no substantive public testimony was recorded on these procedural land-title items. The accepted easements and adjusted lot lines will be processed administratively in advance of the Board hearing on the related rezoning and development permit.
