During the June 16 meeting the board noted two Sanctuary Estates public hearings that had previously been continued to July 21. Several abutters and board members asked to view the property in person. Chair John White said the intent of the site walk was discovery rather than a formal public hearing.
The board discussed logistics — police assistance for traffic and parking, public‑notice posting requirements and whether engineers or an applicant representative could attend to point out test pits and proposed building locations. After availability checks the board set a site walk for 10:00 a.m. on July 7 and instructed staff to post the event and follow the usual public‑notice procedures.
Chair White reiterated that any site walk that functions as a continuation of the public hearing would require formal posting and minutes; the board intends the July 7 visit to be a limited discovery tour with limited public comment.
