Tecumseh — The Tecumseh City Council approved its consent agenda Monday evening and authorized payment of $30,957.80 in city bills, according to the minutes of the Nov. 17, 2025 meeting.
Mayor Jesse Grof presided and City Clerk Janelle Moran recorded the proceedings. Grof read a statement on the availability of the current Open Meetings Act notice before the council moved to routine business.
Councilmember Lorie Topp moved to approve the consent agenda, with Councilmember Alicia Brommer seconding. The consent agenda included approval of the Nov. 3, 2025 minutes and a list of vendor payments (including Black Hills Energy, Community Insurance Group Inc., League of Nebraska Municipalities, MasterCard charges, Ray J Sanitation and others) totaling $30,957.80. The minutes record the vote as "Aye" by Beethe, Britt, Brommer, Goracke, Speckmann and Topp and "Nay" none; the motion is recorded as carried.
The minutes present an attendance note earlier in the record listing Lance Beethe as absent; however, the voting line attached to the consent agenda lists Beethe among the ayes. The minutes do not explain that discrepancy.
The minutes close with signatures from City Clerk Janelle Moran and Mayor Jesse Grof and state the meeting adjourned at 5:06 p.m. No further action or discussion items are recorded.
