The City Council of the City of Tecumseh, Nebraska, convened a regular meeting on Sept. 2, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. in the Utilities Conference Room. Mayor Jesse Grof called the session to order and read a statement announcing the availability of a current copy of the Open Meeting Act.
The council recorded attendance: Council Members Lance Beethe, Brian Britt, Travis Goracke, Tyler Speckmann and Lorie Topp were present; Alicia Brommer was absent. The record also notes the presence of one staff member, the city attorney and one media representative.
The council opened a public hearing at 5:00 p.m. on the City of Tecumseh and Tecumseh Utilities 2025-2026 budget and on setting the 2025-2026 property tax request at a different amount than the prior year. No public comment was received; the hearing closed at 5:01 p.m. The minutes do not record any motion, vote, or final decision on the property tax request during this session.
