Espinosa moved to approve the Precision Fireworks proposal; Council member Sergio Navarro seconded. The motion passed 4–1, with Council members John Nino, Chad Okamoto, Sergio Navarro and Dewayne Espinosa voting in favor and Gloria Hernandez opposing. Mayor Pro-Tem Steve Buckley and Council member Sam Cavazos were absent from the meeting. The council did not specify the fund source for the $15,000 payment during the meeting.
