Alvo trustees approve intersection signs, remote-access device and payment of claims and payroll

At the Aug. 6 meeting the Village of Alvo Board of Trustees approved multiple routine administrative items, including purchase of intersection signs for Harrison Street and 2nd Street and a proposal from HOA Solutions for an eWon device to provide remote access and alarm notification for village systems.
Trustee Larry Langer moved to approve purchase of the intersection signs; Trustee Gary Estes seconded, and the board voted Yes-4, No-0. On the eWon proposal, Langer moved and Roger Paul seconded; the motion carried by the same unanimous margin.
The board also voted to approve payment of claims, wages and taxes as listed in the minutes, which record specific payments including $2,500.00 to Maguire Iron, $1,045.00 to PeopleService, $1,000.00 to Pirsch Legal Services and payroll amounts for meetings and the clerk. Roger Paul moved and Larry Langer seconded the motion to approve claims; the motion passed Yes-4, No-0.
These approvals were recorded in the minutes as part of the Treasurer’s report. No amendments or conditions tied to the purchases or payments are recorded in the public minutes.
