Guffey Community Charter School Board approves agenda, minutes and monitoring reports

The Guffey Community Charter School Board met on Jan. 14, 2026, and approved the meeting agenda, the Dec. 10, 2025 minutes and the consent agenda, each motion recorded as passing with five ayes.
The board acknowledged receipt of Administrator monitoring reports E-1, E-7 and EL-1 after a motion by Chris Peterson and a second from Beth Hall. Members also confirmed completion of self-monitoring reviews for GP-2, GP-4 and BSR-1 through BSR-5 as part of routine governance oversight.
Board members reported community linkage activities: art classes are being held at The Bakery; a playgroup will resume in late January; library visits are continuing; enrollment outreach activities are beginning; and tree undecorating is scheduled for Friday. These items were recorded as updates rather than actions requiring vote.
The board scheduled follow-up business for its Feb. 11 meeting; the minutes note that Beth Hall will chair that meeting and that the agenda should include planning the annual work session and an executive session to discuss the administrator evaluation.
The meeting recessed twice for executive sessions; the minutes record the recess and resumption times but do not disclose the substance of those sessions. The meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
