Guffey Community Charter School Board approves agenda, minutes and monitoring report; recesses to executive session

The Guffey Community Charter School Board on Feb. 11 approved the meeting agenda and several sets of minutes and formally acknowledged an Administrator Monitoring Report before briefly recessing to an executive session.
Chair Beth Hall called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m. Board member Chris Peterson moved and board member Amy Owen seconded approval of the agenda; the board voted 5–0 to adopt it. The board then approved the January 14, 2026 regular meeting minutes (moved by Malcolm Monlezun; seconded by Lawrence Epps) and the January 14, 2026 executive session minutes (moved by Malcolm Monlezun; seconded by Amy Owen), each by 5–0 votes. Lawrence Epps moved and Malcolm Monlezun seconded approval of the consent agenda, which passed 5–0.
The board discussed Administrator Monitoring Reports E-3, EL-8 and EL-10 and voted to acknowledge receipt of the monitoring report after a motion from Amy Owen and a second from Lawrence Epps; the acknowledgement passed 5–0.
Later in the meeting, Chris Peterson moved and Beth Hall seconded that the board recess to an executive session for the purpose of discussing the Administrator evaluation and a personnel matter. The motion passed 5–0; the regular meeting recessed at 6:07 p.m. and resumed at 7:49 p.m. After resumption, Chris Peterson moved and Malcolm Monlezun seconded to adjourn; the motion passed 5–0 and the meeting adjourned at 7:49 p.m.
