Bremen plans invasive-species display; dead loon at Biscay Pond died of lead poisoning, officials say

Ann Nesslage of the Bremen Conservation Commission reported to the selectmen that Naomi Martin and Susan Davis are preparing an invasive-species display to be placed in the Town Center hall.
Nesslage reported that a dead loon was found on the shore of Biscay Pond and that the bird was determined to have died of lead poisoning. She also said Coastal Rivers plans to install a new bog bridge, and that contractor Bob Barkalow will begin invasive-species treatment in the next few weeks.
