The Bremen Road Commissioners, Tom Papell and Dave Adkins, reported June 5 that All States plans to chip-seal Rial Herald and Nobleboro roads on July 18, weather permitting, and that Sprague Transportation will begin ditching those roads and others starting the second week of June.
Papell said the town will notify residents via the community email list about the availability of material removed during ditching. Resident Steve Barnes told the board he would take materials that become available. The Road Commissioners did not provide cost figures in the meeting record but confirmed the schedule and said work is subject to weather and contractor availability.
The Selectmen did not take a separate vote on the schedule during the recorded meeting; the report served as an operational update and the town will coordinate logistics and material pickup with the contractors and the community list.
