Bruce Musgrave, Calhoun County EMS Director, provided department updates and the board approved the appointments by motion (mover Ridgely; second George). The board then approved four new EMS hires: Janessa Christensen (P.R.N., effective June 5, 2026), Jessica Peterson (P.R.N., effective June 8, 2026), Michael Glover (regular full time, effective June 11, 2026) and Haven McFarland (P.R.N., effective June 27, 2026). The motions for the hires were recorded as approved with "Ayes all."
The board also discussed and agreed to proceed with an EMS donations account consistent with resolution 2026-10 approved April 21, 2026; the minutes say the account will be maintained as originally planned and approved in that earlier resolution.
No salary or contract details for the medical director or the newly hired staff were included in the minutes.
