Bremen honors fire and first responders with Shape awards

At its April 3 meeting, the Bremen Board of Selectmen accepted Shape awards presented by a Maine Department of Labor representative recognizing the Bremen Fire Department and Bremen First Responders for achieving Shape status.
The Bremen Board of Selectmen accepted Shape awards for the Bremen Fire Department and Bremen First Responders at a meeting on April 3, 2025. Steve Greeley of the Maine Department of Labor read the Shape award definition and presented the honors to both departments during the opening portion of the meeting.
The recognition marks the latest acknowledgement of public-safety efforts in the town. The presentation was made before the board moved on to routine business including review of warrants and minutes.
The meeting was called to order at 5:01 p.m. by Chair Wendy Pieh and adjourned at 5:18 p.m.
