The Arapahoe City Council on Dec. 16, 2025 approved several routine but concrete items including a revised CDBG Tourism Grant Administrator contract, a vehicle purchase, and façade grants, and accepted mayoral appointments to boards and committees for 2026.
Council approved the revised CDBG Tourism Grant Administrator contract by roll call on a motion by Dan Kreutzer, seconded by Terry Polston. The minutes do not provide contract dollar amounts or scope beyond approval.
The council approved the purchase of a new 2023 Dodge pickup for $49,000 on a motion by Terry Polston, seconded by Ward Carpenter; the motion passed by roll call with no nays recorded. Separately, the council approved a Fae7ade Grant for Shady Rest Motel for $2,130 and a Fae7ade Grant for Long Dogs Distillery for $2,200; motions carried and were incorporated into the minutes.
Mayor John E.
