The Arapahoe City Council on Dec. 2 approved claims and payroll for the period Nov. 19–Dec. 2, 2025. Councilmember Middagh moved to approve the claims and payroll and Councilmember tenBensel seconded; the minutes record the motion carried by roll call.
The minutes list ayes from tenBensel, Polston, Middagh, Carpenter, Kreutzer and Paulsen and also record an abstention by Middagh on check #103665 for $58.09. The minutes thus contain an internal inconsistency in the roll-call entries (Middagh appears both in the ayes list and as the abstention). The minutes nevertheless record the outcome as "MOTION CARRIED." The council did not record any nays.
The itemized claims and payroll table in the minutes lists payroll on Dec. 1, 2025 as $11,051.49 and total expenses as $96,404.61. Several large vendor entries are included in the printed claims, notably multiple entries for SMC Exteriors and a $9,760.34 fee to PowerManager. The minutes do not associate specific claims with departmental budgets in the text of the meeting minutes.
The council scheduled its next regular meeting for Dec. 16, 2025.
