Bremen selectmen approve roadside mowing contract, review road work and solar ordinance draft

The Town of Bremen Board of Selectmen voted 3-0 May 1 to accept a roadside mowing proposal from Gary Castner for $1,520.82.

Chair Wendy Pieh made the motion, which Selectman John "Boe" Marsh seconded, and the board approved the contract during the meeting convened at 5:01 p.m. The motion and vote were recorded by Town Clerk Melanie Pendleton.

Solar ordinance: Nick Delprete, representing the Solar Committee, said the committee is on draft #5 of a proposed solar ordinance and plans to schedule another meeting to continue the drafting process.
