He did not provide a date for a formal decision; the superintendent said the information would arrive in January.
Principal Stacey Gaddis said the district is working with the Co‑op to increase the district’s letter grade by concentrating on the lower 25 percent of students for growth and achievement. She reported that ASVAB representatives spoke with 11th‑grade students and some 12th‑grade students as part of career and military‑readiness outreach. Gaddis said students who join the military can affect the school’s letter grade under the relevant accountability rules discussed.
Maci McJunkins, with RootEd, reported that 41 percent of students have signed up for scholarships. Gaddis also said interim testing will begin in January and that incentives will be offered to students who participate.
