RSU 63 elects MSBA representative, accepts resignations and names new hires

The RSU 63 School Board on Sept. 22, 2025 elected Rachel Downs as the district’s MSBA Delegate Assembly Representative and named Brittany Wood as alternate, by unanimous board vote.
Also recorded under personnel actions were two resignations: Mary Bridgham, Special Education Life Skills teacher at Holden, and Elizabeth Connors, 7/8 math teacher at Holbrook. The board listed new appointments for district positions: Zachary Chenier as Transportation Coordinator/Bus Driver and Audra Whitney as a long‑term social studies substitute. Shelley Wyman was reassigned from Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent to Bookkeeper/Human Resources. The minutes further list active searches for several instructional and support positions, including special-education roles, substitute teachers, food services and spare drivers.
These personnel items were recorded as part of the board’s New Business and were approved by the board in its regular session; where votes are recorded in the minutes the actions passed without opposition. Routine business recorded elsewhere in the minutes included approval of the Aug. 25, 2025 minutes with an amendment to identify a hydroseeding donation donor, and the board’s acceptance of administrator and superintendent reports.
The next regularly scheduled board meeting is Oct. 27, 2025 at Eddington Elementary School.
