Alumna and educator urges Mineral Springs School Board to prioritize teacher retention

She referenced her op-ed, "Students Need Stability: Here's What Arkansas Can Do," published in the Arkansas Advocate, and encouraged educators to apply to the Teach Plus Arkansas Policy Fellowship.
Another member of the public, Brenda Porter, asked the board for a copy of the lease agreement for the Saratoga building and requested that the district repair water problems in the gymnasium. The minutes record both requests in the public-comment portion of the meeting; no formal board response or action on those requests is recorded in the open minutes.
The public-comment period preceded the board's routine consent and action items, which the board approved by unanimous votes.
