Board accepts two resignations; member recuses from vote on relative

John McFarland, board president, moved to approve the resignations of Judy Pearson, K'12 librarian, and Cassie Holt, elementary teacher (5th'6th grade math), effective at the end of the 2025'26 school year. The motion was seconded by Shawn Conder. The motion was adopted by a vote recorded as 6'0yes, 0'no; board member Austin Passmore did not vote on the Holt resignation because she is his sister and his non-vote was noted in the minutes.
The resignations were presented under the personnel section following an executive session. The board did not take any additional personnel action related to these items during the meeting.
