Paul Revere, appearing for Carl Anderson and KBS Realty Trust, said workers were allowed into the building on May 5 and May 12 under a Housing Court stipulation to address paint and dust concerns. Revere said crews covered surfaces, vacuumed dust, applied lead‑defensive paint in areas of concern and filled holes to meet board standards, and that further work is planned. He said he would contact the tenant’s attorney because additional time might be necessary to complete work to required standards.
The health department representative said the department has not yet been contacted for a reinspection but agreed that a reinspection will be necessary. The board voted to continue the matter to the June meeting to allow time for remediation and reinspection.
