Premier Lakes reports lake systems healthy; nano-bubbler repair and compressor work planned

Bill Kurth of Premier Lakes, Inc. reported to the River Ridge Community Development District Board on Aug. 27 that the district’s lakes and preserves "appear to be in very good shape" and maintenance work is underway.
Kurth said crews removed fallen trees from the Florida Power & Light ditch and outfall structure before an impending tropical storm, and that repairs to the Lake H1-B nano-bubbler — caused by the unit losing prime — would be completed the following day. He also said Premier changed its service frequency from quarterly to monthly during the rainy season to address increased growth in preserves and dry retention areas.
Operations Manager Shane Willis and Mr. Kurth said they would present proposals for the electrical portion of a project to relocate a compressor in the Masters Lake. The Board acknowledged the maintenance updates and directed staff to continue coordination with Premier Lakes and The Club on any work in right-of-way or easements.
Next steps: staff and Premier Lakes will bring electrical proposals related to the compressor relocation to a future meeting and continue monthly maintenance through the rainy season.
