Drainage board schedules hearing to raise assessments on Vance/Van Smith #18 drain after homeowner complaint

Board staff noted the watershed is small and proposed changes were calculated to raise collection totals; staff also said they will attempt to dig up and locate blockages before contracting repairs. The hearing procedure and the advertised rate will be the next formal step; the board did not adopt a final assessment during the meeting.
