Arnold trustees approve SORC street closure and authorize $124,280 payment for street improvements

At a special meeting on July 28, the Village of Arnold Board of Trustees granted an event closure request and authorized funds for street improvements.
Becky Dailey requested permission to block off the 100 Block of North Walnut on Friday, Aug. 8 for SORC. Trustee Austin Snyder moved to grant the request and Trustee Donnell DeLosh seconded. The roll-call vote was Aye: Glen Bowers, Donnell DeLosh, Zach Hagler, Austin Snyder; Abstain: Jason Jenkins. The motion carried.
After discussion on street work, Trustee Donnell DeLosh moved and Trustee Austin Snyder seconded a motion to authorize Village Clerk Patricia Lamberty to issue a check to Tri State Paving for $124,280.00 for street improvements. The roll-call vote was unanimous: Aye—Bowers, DeLosh, Hagler, Jenkins, Snyder. The motion carried.
The board convened at 7:00 p.m. at the Arnold Community Center. Notices had been posted at Pinnacle Bank, the post office, Reeds Food Center and the Village Office, and on Facebook. Chairman Zach Hagler declared the meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
