Royal Palm Beach planning commission unanimously approves three commercial exterior applications

Staff presented Application 26-052 from JA Before Ad Jewish Center, Inc., seeking architectural approval to repaint an existing building at 129 Sparrow Drive. Staff said the proposed body color is Graystone MPG 109-4 and architectural elements would be Commercial White (PPG102 5 5-1) and recommended approval “as submitted.” With no public comment, a commissioner moved to approve Application 26-052 AAR; the motion passed 5-0.
The commission next considered Application 26-061 AAR, a request by Hoover Architectural Products on behalf of the property owner to install aluminum-framed acrylic awnings on the south elevation of the building at 155 State Road 7 (suite 101). The applicant was not present. Staff described the proposed awnings and recommended approval. After discussion the commission moved to approve the application and voted 5-0.
For Application 26-063 AAR, staff presented proposed exterior modifications to the former TGI Friday’s site at 580 N State Road 7 that the applicant says will include stucco, siding, awnings, lighting sconces, repainting, brick veneer to be painted black, and new wall and monument signage to reflect Lynora’s restaurant. Staff said there would be no changes to the building footprint or site elements and recommended approval. Applicants Jamie Brewer and Michelle Lemire were sworn in and had no additional presentation comments when asked. A motion to approve Application 26-063 AAR was made by Vice Chair David Leland and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Alba; the commission approved the application, 5-0.
