Norton Select Board reorganizes leadership and confirms new treasurer/collector and commissioners

The board also approved several standing appointments to regional commissions: Justin Czecha (DPW director) was named to SERPED and to MFN (Mansfield‑Fox‑Norton wastewater commission) responsibilities; Dustin Chica (named in the transcript with spelling variants) was appointed to MFN; and Select Board member Kevin O’Neal was designated as the town’s GATRA advisory board member with a term running through April 30, 2028.
The board thanked outgoing planning and zoning director Paul D. Jeppy for years of service and presented a citation recognizing his contributions to long‑range planning, village center efforts and redevelopment initiatives.
During the meeting the board also approved a one‑day liquor license for the town’s "Sip & Stroll" event on May 16, with departments having signed off and the police chief coordinating details; the license passed by roll call 5–0.
