Danville accepts $25,000 donation and life-support equipment from Fire Association

The Danville Board of Selectmen unanimously accepted a $25,000 donation from the Danville Fire Association and formally accepted medical equipment purchased by the Association, including a LUCAS mechanical CPR device and a ZOLL cardiac monitor.
Rob Aliberti thanked the Association for the gift and the Board expressed appreciation for the donation, noting the Association paid manufacturers directly for the devices. "We appreciate the generous gift so the monitors could be purchased," Rob said during the meeting.
The acceptance authorizes the town to take ownership of the devices; the motion to accept the donation and equipment passed unanimously. The donation is intended to support emergency medical response capability in Danville.
