At its Aug. 26 special meeting the Atkinson City Council approved several routine items, including access to an outlet at the Community Center for the "Trailer of Terror" mobile haunted house on Oct. 31–Nov. 2, and the minutes from the Aug. 5 meeting.
Jerry Osborne moved and Ron Krysl seconded approval of the Trailer of Terror request; roll call showed Ayes: Osborne, Shane, Asher, Krysl, Olson. The motion carried. Earlier in the meeting Chuck Asher moved and Scott Shane seconded approval of the Aug. 5 minutes; that motion also passed by roll-call vote. The council briefly reviewed the proposed 2023–2024 budget but recorded no budget votes or amendments at this meeting.
Councilmember Chuck Asher moved and Councilmember Helen Olson seconded to adjourn at 8:15 p.m.; the roll call vote carried and the meeting ended.
