At its Sept. 22 meeting Pawnee City council approved a CDBG drawdown, made two planning-board appointments and designated an emergency manager.
Council approved Drawdown #3 for the CDBG Street Improvement Project (24-PW-013) totaling $19,566.01. Of that amount, $17,900.00 was payable to JEO Consulting for design and engineering (split $13,765.10 from the CDBG Public Works grant and $4,134.90 from the city match) and $1,666.01 was payable to SENDD for administration and construction management services. Council Member Susan Eisenhauer moved to approve the drawdown; Council Member Vickie Zelenka seconded and the roll-call vote was unanimous.
The council also approved appointments of Terry Borcher and Russell Weeks to the Planning Commission (motion by Council Member Zelenka, seconded by Council Member Eisenhauer) and designated Megan Buckley as Pawnee City’s Emergency Manager (motion by Council Member Eisenhauer, seconded by Council Member Zelenka). Routine approvals on the agenda included acceptance of prior meeting minutes and payment of payroll and vendor claims.
City staff will process the drawdown payment requests and update the council on project progress in future packets.
