Planning Board approves after-the-approval changes to 29 York Street subdivision

The Planning Board voted March 9 to approve an after-the-approval amendment for the 29 York Street subdivision that relocates units, lengthens decks, revises dumpster/trash disposal and adjusts stormwater configurations.
Town Engineer Chris Osterrieder and applicant engineer Bill Walsh told the board the amendment aligns mostly with the prior 2024 approval but requires slight modifications to the stormwater-management area due to shifted unit locations. Osterrieder said the town will require an as-built stormwater plan to verify the installed drainage and will not release the final performance guarantee until that as-built is received.
Board members limited their review to the items that changed from the earlier approval, considered the findings of fact for those areas, and approved the application by motion (J. Vance; second R. Smith). The recorded vote was five in favor, none opposed.
The approval includes the standard condition that the town receive and accept the as-built stormwater plan prior to releasing performance guarantees.
