Mark said, “we blew the motor. The motor dropped in … We had to purchase a new engine to go in and this would be the third motor that’s been in that truck.” He added the truck is “just the running … It’s so hard on them.” Mark also said a new truck has been ordered but “it probably won't be here till this time next year, hopefully.”
The committee received the fire department’s written report in its meeting packet and members thanked staff for their work. The discussion did not include cost estimates for the new engine or the ordered truck nor a timetable for replacing the vehicle beyond the representative’s expectation that the new truck would arrive around this time next year.
