The Village of Murray Board of Trustees adopted Ordinance No. 693 at the Feb. 11, 2025 meeting, enacting revisions to the municipal code governing the Planning Commission.
Chairman Jeff Anderson read Ordinance No. 693 by title, describing amendments to Title III, Chapter 32 regarding the appointment of members, the makeup of the commission, the election of a chairperson and secretary, and the commission’s powers and duties. Trustee George Blessing moved to approve the ordinance on first reading by title only and to suspend the three required statutory readings; Trustee Stan Flak seconded. The board then adopted, posted and published Ordinance No. 693 on third and final reading with ayes from Blessing, Flak, Schroeder, Bartlett and Anderson.
The minutes indicate the ordinance will be posted and published in pamphlet form and will take effect according to the posted effective date.
