The Lancaster City Council took several routine actions during its meeting, approving the consent agenda, accepting a public sanitary sewer easement, and recording a board vacancy.
City Secretary Arenas read the consent agenda, which included approval of minutes from May 13 and June 10, 2024 and a special meeting on June 14, 2024. A motion and second were made and the council approved the consent items by voice vote.
On item M24-38, staff asked the council to accept a 20-foot public sanitary sewer easement consisting of 55,967 square feet (about 1.9735 acres) on Lot 1, Block A of the Crowley/Lancaster Logistics Edition, located roughly 1,500 feet west of the intersection of Ferris Road and East Beltline Road (addressed 1000 East Beltline Road). Staff said the subject property is zoned planned development and recommended acceptance; the council approved the easement by voice vote.
The council also moved to declare a vacancy on the public engagement committee due to a resignation and approved that action by voice vote.
The meeting concluded with adjournment at 7:28 p.m.
