Murray trustees deny residents’ request for speed bumps on E. Campbell Street, approve fence permit

Residents Dave and Linda Brouhard asked the Murray Board of Trustees for speed bumps on the 100 block of E. Campbell Street; the board voted not to allow them. The board also approved a fence building permit for Nathan Liby at 304 N Denise Ave.
During the Dec. 10 meeting residents Dave and Linda Brouhard requested installation of speed bumps on the 100 block of E. Campbell Street. Trustee George Blessing moved, and Trustee Zach Schroeder seconded, a motion not to allow speed bumps on that block; the motion carried with the ayes recorded in the minutes.
Separately, the board approved a building permit for Nathan Liby at 304 N Denise Ave to construct a fence (motion by Stan Flak, seconded by Zach Schroeder). Both motions were recorded as carried in the minutes.
The consent agenda approved earlier in the meeting also included routine administrative items and the Clerk’s acknowledgement of the Treasurer’s Report. The minutes list a claims total of $117,582.58 and itemize several supplier payments.
