Murray trustees adopt One and Six Year Road and Street Plan and certify compliance with state road standards

The Village of Murray Board of Trustees voted unanimously Sept. 10 to adopt the One and Six Year Road and Street Plan for 2024/2025 through 2029/2030 and to approve the Municipal Annual Certification of Program Compliance to the Nebraska Board of Public Roads Classifications and Standards 2024, according to the meeting minutes.
Chairman Jeff Anderson opened a public hearing on the road and street plan at 7:03 p.m. and told the audience that "a three (3) minute time allotment would be given" to each person who wished to address the board. With no public comment, Anderson closed the hearing at 7:04 p.m.
Trustee Stan Flak moved to adopt Resolution 24-06, the One and Six Year Road and Street Plan 2024/2025 through 2029/2030; Trustee George Blessing seconded. The minutes record that Blessing, Flak, Schroeder, Woodard and Anderson voted in the affirmative and the motion carried.
Trustee George Blessing then moved to adopt Resolution 24-07, the Municipal Annual Certification of Program Compliance to Nebraska Board of Public Roads Classifications and Standards 2024; Trustee Zach Schroeder seconded. The motion carried by the same unanimous vote.
The minutes note that meeting notice was posted in three public places and published in the Omaha World-Herald on Aug. 29, 2024. With no further business, Chairman Anderson adjourned the meeting at 7:05 p.m. The minutes were attested by Village Clerk Shelli S. Hayes, who certified they are a true and correct copy.
