Roxbury selectmen approve $14,549.04 warrant, set post-election office hours and note cemetery lot

At its Oct. 10 meeting, the Town of Roxbury Board of Selectmen unanimously approved Warrant #19 totaling $14,549.04.
Selectman Timothy Derouche moved to allow town staff to open the office at 11:00 a.m. on the day after the Nov. 7 election; Ray Hodsdon seconded and the motion passed 3-0. The board likewise recorded that Row M Lot 15 in the town cemetery had been located and marked, with adjacent lots noted as available.
The board also noted that Timothy Derouche will contact dock-grant contacts for an update, scheduled a budget meeting for Oct. 24 at 5:00 p.m., and determined that the town’s 2024 state valuation numbers appear to be significantly off, prompting planning for a reevaluation.
The meeting adjourned at 7:12 p.m.; the minutes were approved as written at the Oct. 24 meeting and copies of the minutes are available for review at the town office during regular business hours.
