Roxbury selectmen approve winter-roads follow-up, sand contract and multiple grants

Selectmen also authorized town employee Renee to pursue a cyber security grant and amended that motion to permit the chair to sign any required documents; that motion passed 3-0. The board reviewed and voted 3-0 to sign a snowmobile-club grant application after a brief review of the paperwork.
The board approved $200 from the Busters Beach account to have Nick Pierce remove swim buoys (motion by Chair Derouche; second by Ray Hodsdon), and signed the warrant for Sept. 12 totaling $61,415.16 (motion by Derouche; second by Hodsdon), both by unanimous votes.
What happens next: the contractor equipment review is scheduled for Sept. 20, and the EMA phone briefing on the Mayday storm is set for Oct. 11 at 11:30 a.m. Staff will proceed with grant applications and the chair is authorized to sign where necessary.
