Roxbury selectmen approve ordinance updates, sign FEMA procurement policy and authorize warrant

The Town of Roxbury Board of Selectmen approved a package of administrative motions at their Nov. 28, 2023 meeting, including an update to the town's General Assistance ordinance and the formal signing of the town FEMA procurement policy dated Nov. 15, 2023.
The board voted 2-0 to update the General Assistance Ordinance with new appendices after a motion by Selectman Timothy Derouche and a second from Selectman Matthew Patneaude. The two selectmen also voted 2-0 to sign the FEMA procurement policy and to authorize the town warrant for $150,977.69. Each of those items passed on motions moved by Derouche and seconded by Patneaude.

The actions were procedural and unanimous among the two present selectmen. The board scheduled several upcoming workshops and hearings—most notably a Site Plan Review Application workshop and Building Permit Application workshop on Dec. 19—and adjourned at about 7:07 p.m.
