Readfield — The Readfield Select Board on March 23 voted to authorize town staff to draft a letter to the First Park (KRDA) board asking that its meetings be made available remotely to improve public access.
A board member said the town has asked the First Park board for remote access for two years with little progress. The motion authorized Eric (town staff) to draft and send a letter on the select board’s behalf asking the First Park board to consider instituting virtual meeting access so residents can participate remotely. The motion was seconded and carried unanimously.
Board members said the move is intended to increase transparency and public participation; no additional action beyond drafting and sending the letter was recorded.
