Woolwich JLUB unanimously appoints Carolyn Grasso chair and Dana Cotton vice chair at reorganization meeting

The meeting opened at 7:02 PM with JLUB Secretary Shannon Kilpatrick noting compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act (N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq.) and leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Kauffman nominated Carolyn Grasso for chair, Trautz seconded, and the board adopted Resolution #2026-01 by roll-call vote; Solicitor M. Aimino administered Grasso’s oath of office. Later, Kauffman moved to appoint Dana Cotton as vice chair, Fluellen seconded, and the board adopted Resolution #2026-02; M. Aimino administered Cotton’s oath.
The board approved a consent agenda covering Resolutions #2026-03, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 after Nocentino moved to place those items on a consent calendar and Cotton moved to adopt it. Chairperson Grasso led a brief review of the 2026 meeting calendar; members agreed to remove July 2 (near a holiday weekend) and Nov. 19 (conflicting with League of Municipalities classes) to avoid quorum and attendance conflicts. Chairperson Grasso then asked for adoption of Resolution #2026-04; Cotton moved and Nocentino seconded and the board approved it by roll-call vote. The minutes do not specify the subject matter of Res. #2026-04.
With no further business, the board adjourned at 7:17 PM following a motion by Mike Nocentino and second by Thomas Daniels.
