Denton trustees approve minutes and claims; chair abstains on claims vote

The Village of Denton Board of Trustees approved two formal items at its July 8 meeting.
First, Trustee John Juricek moved and Trustee Doug Rosekrans seconded approval of the June 3, 2024 meeting minutes; the motion carried.
Later the board considered Claims and Transfers. Trustee John Juricek moved and Trustee Doug Rosekrans seconded approval of Claims A ($85,668.64), Claims B ($5,992.88), June payroll ($9,865.05) and a transfer of $60,000 from the Keno Fund to the General Fund. The recorded vote was AYE: Juricek, Wheatley, Fangmeier, Rosekrans; ABSTAIN: Hobelman. The motion carried.
No other formal votes or ordinance adoptions were recorded at the July 8 meeting.
