Lyons council approves 5% raises for three staff members after executive session

The council approved a 5% pay increase for Ron Daberkow on a motion by Tyler Vacha, seconded by Kyle Phillips. The council also approved a 5% pay increase for Mike Heavrin for both his Library Director position and his duties as grant writer (a 5% raise for each role) on a motion by Tyler Vacha, seconded by Allen Steinmeyer. All three raises passed by roll call with no recorded votes against them.
