Lyons council approves consent agenda including major equipment purchases and insurance payment

Later in the meeting the council approved two specific vendor payments that had been listed among claims: a $1,499.78 payment to KB’s Mini Mart (motion by Matthew Carr; second by Tyler Vacha) and a $1,490.91 payment to Steiny’s General Store (motion by Kyle Phillips; second by Tyler Vacha). The Steiny’s General Store payment passed with Councilmember Allen Steinmeyer recorded as abstaining.
