A staff presenter described the proposal and said the plan generally met UDO review criteria but recommended conditions: identify window and door finish materials to demonstrate compliance with the UDO and provide a landscape plan showing a minimum 75% tree canopy. Pierce Scott Architects’ Amanda Denmark, representing owners Alan and Jamie Oliver, described plans to restore a front porch, add storefront windows and widen a rear door for ADA access. Denmark said the design would replace non‑historic windows with matching configurations and add a storefront along Bridge Street.
Commissioner Solca moved to approve with the staff conditions that window and door finishes be identified and that the landscape plan show the 75% tree canopy; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.
The approval requires the applicant to provide finish/material details and an updated landscape plan for staff review to ensure compliance with the UDO before work proceeds.
