Robbins board accepts treasurer's report, defers employee handbook and approves resolution; citizens raise community-center concerns

The Village of Robbins board on Nov. 22 accepted the treasurer’s report after Finance Director Mr. Kemp presented account figures showing a beginning balance of $1,030,749.98, receipts of $632,194.32, expenditures of $745,105.66 and an ending balance of $917,838.64. Trustee George Brewton moved to accept the report; the motion passed on a roll-call vote with five ayes and one absence.

During public comment, Mrs. Murphy said she had hand-delivered a letter from block clubs to the village clerk regarding the community center and had not received a response. Ms. Echols raised concerns about a resident identified as Mr. Foster on Harding and his dogs. No board action on those public comments is recorded in the minutes.

The meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m. after a unanimous vote to close the session.
