Maria Paikos, chairperson of the Middleton Housing Authority, convened the meeting at 4:15 p.m. The board reviewed the minutes of the Feb. 19 meeting and, upon a motion by Commissioner Karen McCafferty and a second from Commissioner Sharon Purchase, voted 5-0 to accept them.
Board members then reviewed processed bills for February 2026; no commissioners raised questions during that review. The board also reviewed quarterly financial reports and noted that reserves are “excellent” and are on track for the fiscal year.
Later in the meeting the board considered a wage‑match document intended to verify residents’ income for program administration. Commissioner Karen McCafferty moved to approve the FY2027 document; Commissioner Sharon Purchase seconded. The measure passed on a 5-0 vote.
Chair Maria Paikos asked that her reappointment to the Affordable Housing Trust be placed on the next agenda. The meeting record states the next meeting is scheduled for March 19, 2026. Following a motion by Commissioner McCafferty, the meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m. Cynthia Dunn, recording secretary, signed the minutes.
