Superintendent: volleyball team places fourth, Veterans Day program praised; district to seek POS and pest-control bids

Billeter called the Veterans Day program “a resounding success” and said a board member workshop is scheduled for Jan. 15. He also reported speaking with a representative from Stockman’s Bank about replacing the district’s current U.S. Bank credit card and said the district is collecting quotes for a new point-of-sale system to handle concession and lunch payments; quotes and vendor details were not included in the minutes.
Principal Matt Springer reported that fall sports have concluded and the high school Quiz Bowl team has participated in two meets. Springer said the district is evaluating new pest-control services and expects two bids to be ready for board consideration next month.
The minutes record these operational updates but include no vendor names, contract terms or dollar amounts for banking, POS or pest-control options. The board asked staff to return with specifics at a future meeting.
